ReplyDeleteAngie,
ReplyDeleteYour script really came alive here. I loved how it all worked together. The images you chose are beautiful and help tell the story. They way the images transitioned were perfect and reflected the emotional mood of the various points of the story. It was very beautiful. And the music you chose enhanced the story.
My only suggestion is for the end. It seemed to end a little abruptly. I might suggest adding a little to he end where you talk about the joy of expecting the adopted child so that this joy stands out a little more.
Great job.
You timed your silences and breaks in this perfect. It really gives the viewer a chance to let the information you have just shared sink in, just like you would have had to do upon hearing it for the first time.
ReplyDeleteLike Charity, my one suggestion is that the ending did seem kind of sudden. Talking more about adopting might help ease into the end a little bit better.
Wonderful job!
I really like your choice of images for your story. Although not literal, they convey the emotions very well and do not distract from listening to the powerful story. I personally don't mind the ending. I kind of see this as a chapter of your life. The next story or chapter may be your experiences in the adoption process and the next your first experiences with your adopted child.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such a personal and powerful story.
I really listened to the second winter segment as you requested. I think what you might revise would be a definition of "ectopic" rather than just saying it was and "ectopic" pregnancy and assuming the audience knows what it means. Cool how the storyboard and almost finished result look the same. Simple is so effective!
